Actonians 24 vs Watford 19

A bit of a mix match Actonians team heads to Watford for the final pre-season match.

The first 20-minute block started very strongly for Actonians. The structure looked good, and the pace of play showed great improvement from last season. Actonians go two tries up in the first 20 with one conversion

The second 20-minute block was a different story. Lack of effort, awareness and a few silly mistakes allow Watford to find their footing and change to a passage of play to suit them with hard carries and slick hands. Watford takes the lead with 2 converted tries.

Actonians rally together again in the final 20 mins and start using their brains again. Making the right calls and the right decisions, they are able to bring the game back to the Actonians pace and style and even with Watford's grit and their determination, gaining them one more try, it wasn't enough as Actonians scored 2 more and converted 1 of them to end the match Actonians 24 - Watford 19
